Although there is no cure for this disease, but it can control the most common symptoms:
• Increased sleepiness: The treatment is divided into drug treatment, medical and behavioral therapy.
Drugs: There is a stimulant drug used for this case the most important derivatives of amphetamine. And recently used a new drug called modafinil. But the use of these drugs needs to follow a specialist.
Behavioral therapy: It consists mainly of full attendance on the dates of sleep and waking up in the system of life in general.
Naps Strategy: It means taking short naps (10-15 minutes) when you feel very sleepy if circumstances permit.
• sleep paralysis, paralysis and sudden waking hallucinations which precede sleep: It is used to treat antidepressants. The reason for using these drugs they reduce the stage of dreams, resulting in ease these symptoms.
