2.2 million Turkish quit smoking within two years
An official at the Turkish Ministry of Health estimates that 2.2 million Turks who quit smoking during the past two years after the imposition of a ban on smoking in public places closed in 2009.
Quoted by the Anatolia news agency for the official in the Ministry of Health, SE com "The rate of people who quit smoking in the last two years is one of the highest in the world, noting that 2.2 million Turks have stopped smoking since the ban was closed places."
