The Germans, scientists said there are studies underway on the health benefits of green tea and its positive effect on diseases such as Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis.

The scientists added that the results of these studies will be announced late in 2012, noting that it will be the first of its kind in terms of the degree of confidence.

The German neurologist Paul Friedman that there are more than one hundred study being conducted in many parts of the world on various aspects of green tea.

He acknowledged there were difficulties in the analysis of the results of different studies and compared to each other because of the lack of uniform criteria used in these studies.

And held at Max Delbrück Center in Berlin Conference on the latest scientific findings on the impact of materials that make up the tea on the diseases of dementia, as well as overweight and diseases of the heart and blood circulation.
