The researchers found from the University of Hong Kong, the main molecule on the cover of the egg called the human LewisX SLeX who works as a link to help the sperm to egg adhesion.

Said researcher William Young: "This discovery gives an answer to a fundamental question about human mating and how it is linked to sperm egg," and added that this is just the first step for further exploration.

It will help determine the molecule SLeX to know patients who have infertility due to the loss of this molecule, and thus can help in the treatment of infertility.

The study, which began in 2009 molecule SLeX 70% of the eggs that were fertilized when tested, have been donated to the eggs from some patients.

The researchers hope to develop detection for practical use in two years, was the work of this study in conjunction with Britain's Imperial Collage, and Academia Sinica, Taiwan, and the University of Mosora the United States.

The study pointed to the World Health Organization reports that say that as infertility affects approximately 15% of couples of reproductive age in the world.
