A recent study revealed a link between feeding pregnant and adopting a healthy diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, reduced the risk for having children, congenital deformities.

The study, reported by the magazine "Time" and published in the journal "Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescents," is the first of its kind to explore the link between the mother's diet during pregnancy and congenital malformations among newborns (such as steel lip or cleft palate).
