A recent British study found that children who enjoyed breastfed receive higher scores on tests of language and reasoning in the age of five than children who did not Itagzu by breastfeeding at birth.
The study relied on data about 12 thousand children were born in Britain between 2000 and 2002, when the children were at the age of nine months, the researchers asked mothers whether they breastfed their babies for any period of time, and after five years has been to bring children for tests measuring vocabulary and thinking skills and spatial .
It was found that 6 to 7 children out of 10 enjoyed breastfeeding, and these children demonstrated greater ability to pass these tests, whether they were born in normal time or early.
The results showed that children who were born at the time and enjoyed the natural breastfed for four to six months were better in language tests and the conclusion of their peers who did not have breastfed, and increasingly these differences in thinking among children as they get older.
It seems the biggest impact of breastfeeding on children who were born early and they need to feed for the completion of a private mental development.
Although previous studies have focused on the health benefits in the first stages of life, such as reducing the risk of infection from various diseases, the researchers were not sure of the impact of breastfeeding on children's mental strength but that they have some theories in this regard.
She said one of the authors of a recent study from the Institute of Social and Economic Studies at the University of Essex British Amanda Saker: "There fatty acids, mainly in breast milk of the mother which are useful for cell growth and brain in particular, and there may be differences in hormone and growth factors, which lacks the milk."
The Saker: "There is a third possibility depends on the social worker and the emotional warmth that gets the child in his mother's lap during the process of breastfeeding, which have a positive impact on the mental and psychological growth."
She noted that some previous studies have focused on the link between breastfeeding and thinking skills or IQ to similar results.
And saw Dr. David McCormick of the University of Texas that breastfeeding may benefit the immune system and help to grow and improve brain function.
