New treatment for hepatitis C

New treatment for hepatitis C

U.S. scientists said they are conducting experiments on the possible treatment of hepatitis "C" may prevent the virus from the regeneration again.

The Professor Darryl Davies from the University of Utah scientists discovered that the material resistance to viral infection, "C" related to the change of the molecular gene could help in getting a new treatment for this disease.

Davis added, "The treatments available for hepatitis" C "of limited effectiveness and response does not exceed fifty per cent," pointing to the existence of small molecules that may prevent regeneration of viral and this in turn may help to find more effective drugs for the disease.
