Coffee may reduce the incidence of cervical cancer



The results of Japanese study published on Monday that women who drank more than three cups of coffee a day is less susceptible to cervical cancer by 60% compared with women who drank less than two cups a week.

The study prepared by the National Cancer Center in Japan that the "coffee can lead to a reduction in the rate of insulin may result in reducing the risk of cervical cancer."

The researchers also studied the effects of green tea but have not found any link between consumption of this tea and the risk of cervical cancer.

This study came at the request of the Japanese Ministry of Health, and included 54 thousand women aged forty years and 69 years over 15 years, a period, during which 117 of these women with cervical cancer.
