Antioxidants may help couples who have difficulty in normal pregnancy.

Secondary infertility in males, is the inability to conceive after successfully on previous occasions, affects one out of every 20 men, and cause oxidative stress which types of reactive oxygen and are called (Ross) (ROS) damage cells, especially sperm cells, which may lead to reduce the number of sperm that can fertilize eggs, and include antioxidant chemicals of natural and artificial, including some vitamins and minerals, which help reduce the damage caused by (Ross) (ROS).


And the study included 2876 of couples tried to use assisted reproductive techniques such as in vitro fertilization and sperm injection, and suffered most of the men of the decline in sperm count, was the experience of different types of antioxidants by mouth, including vitamin E, zinc and magnesium.


The study showed that the probability of pregnancy, childbirth or greater if the man was dealing with antioxidants, and also showed that the antioxidants have a positive effect on the movement and concentration of sperm.
