A recent study showed that eating fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of colon cancer.

The researchers followed the diet for 918 person with colon cancer and 1021 is not a person has a history of the disease and found that eating vegetables and fruits may reduce colon cancer risk, specifically the top and bottom of it.

Consumption of vegetables such as broccoli, kale, broccoli, cabbage, and reduces the risk of colon cancer in the upper, while eating vegetables and fruit reduces the risk of colon cancer in the lower layer.

They also found that eating apples, green and yellow vegetables was associated with reduced colon cancer risk lower.

Researchers did not specify the reason for the lower risk of colon cancer in vegetable eaters, but they want to further studies at a high level to see if eating more vegetables may reduce the risk further.
